BTS continue to smash records as they become first K-Pop group to reach 600 million YouTube views

The K-Pop heroes seem to be unstoppable

BTS have been knocking records out of the park recently – and today is no different as they've become the first K-Pop group to reach 600 million views with a single YouTube video.

Is everyone sure they weren't all us? ARMY is looking pretty unstoppable as the group's music video for their song DNA was released back in September 2017 and has racked up more views than we've had more Creme eggs today and that is a might feat.

Released as the title track to their album Love Yourself: Her, it was also the first K-Pop video to hit 400 and 500 million views.

It's not the only record the band have smashed recently, as BTS member Jimin broke the SoundCloud record for biggest 24-hour debut with his solo song.

The K-Pop star released the ballad Promise on 31 December, and it was streamed 8.5 million times in the first day of debut, according to the platform.

It smashed the record held by rapper Drake and his Duddy Freestyle, which was streamed 4.9 million times.

Since then listens on Promise, which was co-written by Jimin and fellow BTS member RM, have skyrocketed to more than 16.3 million streams.

As if all that wasn't enough, the K-Pop heroes – RM, Jimin, V, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin and Suga – were recently one of the big winners at the Golden Disc Awards.

Surprising nobody, BTS took home a Best Digital Song Bonsang and the award for Global V Live Top 10 Best Artist – and left everyone in hysterics in the meantime.
